He Will Hold My Hand

Author: Mrs. C. H. M. Hymnal: Light and Life Songs No. 2 #69 (1914) First Line: "As thy day thy strength shall be" Refrain First Line: He will keep hold of my hand Lyrics: 1 “As thy day thy strength shall be,” Promise sweet for you and me; When the way seems lone and dreary, When we’ve footsore grown and weary, Pilgrims in a desert land He will hold us by the hand. Chorus: He will keep hold of my hand, He will keep hold of my hand; No harm can ever betide me, He will keep holy of my hand. 2 He who with unwav’ring care Notes the sparrows of the air, And the lilies clothes in brightness, Radiant in their snowy whiteness, Shall He not then care for thee? Hold His hand and trustful be. [Chorus] 3 As a shepherd shall He lead, Day by day supply each need; Hallelujah! what a Savior, In His keeping safe forever; All the way to Glory-land He will hold us by the hand. [Chorus] Languages: English Tune Title: ["As thy day thy strength shall be"]
