Anonymous

Person Name: anón. Tr. at esp. of "Escúchanos, Señor/Attende, Domine" in Cantos del Pueblo de Dios = Songs of the People of God (2nd ed.) In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.

Melvin L. Farrell

1930 - 1986 Person Name: Melvin Farrell, SS, 1930-1986 Author (English) of "Have Mercy on Us, Lord (Attende Domine)" in Journeysongs (3rd ed.)
