Representative Text

1 Do I love my blessed Saviour?
Yes, I do, and this is why:
He to save me left heav’ns glory,
On the cruel cross to die.

Refrain:
Love Him, O yes, I love Him,
Who has cleans’d me thro’ and thro’;
Love Him, O yes, I love Him,
And best of all, He loves me too.

2 When I listened to Him, calling,
“Leave your sins and follow me;”
Then I found on earth a heaven,
In His pardon full and free. [Refrain]

3 Yes, I love my blessed Saviour,
A companion true is He;
Through earth’s pathways strange and winding,
Wondrously He leadeth me. [Refrain]
