Person Name: Anonima Author of "Dum nokt' silenta kantas la ĉiel'" in TTT-Himnaro Cigneta In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.

1912 - 1977 Translator of "Dum nokt' silenta kantas la ĉiel'" in TTT-Himnaro Cigneta Henryk Herbert Paruzel, 1912-1977, Roman Catholic Esperantist priest from Silesia; suffered under Communism. Editor of Biblia Revuo and co-editor of the 830-page Biblia Vortaro (1975). Effie Chastain de Naylor

1889 - 1960 Author of "En el Silencio de la Oscuridad" in Cántico Nuevo Born in Mexico in 1889 to parents from the U.S. who were missionaries. She married George Dent Naylor, a Methodist missionary and they worked in Guantánamo. She was a composer and choir director. Her music is widely used in Cuban churches.
