During our last fund drive a donor said this: "Covid-19 rules prevent us from singing during my husband's burial service, so we will play the tune while we read the printed words or hum along with the music." Needless to say, this testimony struck us and stuck with us. We never know on any given day how Hymnary.org will be a blessing to people, but we know that around the world, the site is making a powerful difference in the lives of many.

Thanks to all who use Hymnary.org and all who support it with gifts of time, talent and treasure. If you feel moved to support our work today with a gift of any amount and a word of encouragement, we would be grateful.

What though my joys and comfort die?
The Lord my savior liveth.
What though the darkness gather round?
Songs in the night he giveth.

1 Gud, lad dit Ord i Naade lykkes
Og vokse baade Dag og Nat,
Men kvæles og med Rod oprykkes
Hver Plantning du ei selv har sat!
Al Satans Løgn og Lærdom knus,
Med Aand og Sandhed fuld dit Hus!

2 Lad ingen falsk Profet forvilde
Os bort i Nattens sure Nød,
Lad ingen Lærdom vrang forspilde
Vor Trøst af Jesu dyre Død!
Jag bort hver Ulv i Faare-Ham!
O Hyrde god, vogt dine Lam!

3 Opklar de Taager, som udspindes
Af Uforstand og Mande-Vid,
Dræb al den Hovmed, som her findes,
Gjør Vantro stum, som volder Strid!
Driv Hykleri til Helved bort,
Atl Sandt og Godt lad vokse stort!

4 Guds Ord er dyre for os vundet
Ved Guds trofaste Vidners Blod,
Det var som tabt, men er gjenfundet,
Vi har den Skat og Perle god,
For hvilken de gav al Ting hen,
Gud lad os vel forvare den!

5 O, lad det gaa i Arv og Eie
Til vore Børn i tusind Led,
Og vise os de rette Veie
At finde Naade, Trøst og Fred,
Og hjælpe alle ind til Gud,
Saa har det ført sin Gjerning ud!
