Representative Text

1 My Heavn’ly Father cares for even me;
His arms of love surround me day by day;
No night so dark that Jesus cannot see;
He loves and cares for me alway.

I know He cares for even me;
He love, He cares so tenderly;
I know not, Lord, how it can be,
But, oh, He cares for even me.

2 I cannot stray from out His precious sight;
Beneath His wings my soul doth rest secure;
His hand of love, will ever guide aright;
Kept by His pow’r I shall endure. [Refrain]

3 He cares for me—what peace untold is mine!
Though dark the way, He will not let me go;
Whate’er befall, dear Lord, I still am Thine,
And Thou wilt care for me, I know. [Refrain]
