Representative Text

1 Oh, wonderful words by the Master spoken,
“Ye must be born again;”
Of life everlasting the sign and token,
“Ye must be born again.”
“Ye must be born again,” he said,
Unto the ruler who came for aid;
Born of the Spirit of God in deed,
Oh, “Ye must be born again.”

Refrain:
“Ye must be born again,”
“Ye must be born again.”
Born of the Spirit, an heir of God,
Oh, “Ye must be born again.”

2 Those wonderful words on the soul are burning,
“Ye must be born again;”
Oh, come like the ruler in spirit yearning,
“Ye must be born again.”
“Ye must be born again,” for lo!
Jesus, the Master, hath told you so;
Born of the Spirit while here below,
Oh, “Ye must be born again.” [Refrain]

3 Oh, come to the Savior, this truth believing,
“Ye must be born again;”
In penitence, pardon for sin receiving,
“Ye must be born again.”
“Ye must be born again,” in love,
And like the ruler, your faith must prove;
Born of the Spirit of God above,
Oh, “Ye must be born again.” [Refrain]
