Holmes, John. (Somerville, Massachusetts, January 6, 1904--1962). He took the degree of B.S. at Tufts College in 1929, and the next year was a student at Harvard. Since then he has taught at Tufts University, rising to the rank of Associate Professor of English. Author of numerous articles and books.
