Representative Text

1 Shine in, shine in, Thou light divine,
Illume my soul today;
O fill with joy this heart of mine,
And drive the clouds away.

Refrain:
Shine in, shine in,
O light divine, I pray,
Come, fill with joy this heart of mine,
Shine in, O shine today.

2 Shine in, shine in, with beams of love,
Thou light of Life divine;
Shine with a radiance from above,
And make me wholly Thine. [Refrain]

3 Shine in, shine in, ‘till all within
Is kindled by Thy rays;
Till I am purged from every sin,
And all my soul is praise. [Refrain]

4 Shine in, shine in, ‘till I shall be
Transfigured by Thy pow’r;
And then reflect the light from Thee,
Around me every hour. [Refrain]
