I Tell It All to Jesus

1 When troubles grieve my weary soul,
I tell it all to Jesus;
When cares like billows o’er me roll,
I tell it all to Jesus
I cannot carry them alone,
And so I bear them to the throne,
And Jesus takes them as His own;
I tell it all to Jesus.

I seek the throne and make it known;

2 When foes confront me in the way,

When tempters seek to lead astray,

Because I need a mighty Friend
To help in labors, to defend,
And bring my conflicts to an end,

3 When life’s brief day shall close at last,
I’ll tell it all to Jesus;
And death my sky shall overcast,

My soul not death itself can harm,
