Let Us Go To Galilee

Author: P. C. Paulsen Hymnal: Hymnal for Church and Home #357 (1927) Meter: 7.7.7.3 Lyrics: 1 Let us go to Galilee, To the land across the sea, Where the hills have heard the word Of our Lord. 2 Echoes ring from hill to hill, Voices sound across the rill: He is coming thro' the lea, Blest is He. 3 There He comes, the prophet true, Slowly passing into view, With the bearing of a king, Joy to bring. 4 Hearts aglow with joyful song, Children join the happy throng; Multitudes with one accord Hail Him Lord. 5 Seated on the grassy slope, Heaven opens, words of hope Lift the souls to God on high, Christ is nigh. 6 How I long to see the Lord, Hear Him speak His holy word, In the land across the sea, Galilee.
