Scored for SATB Choir

The light of Christ is beautifully portrayed in this stirring, Christmas medley by the writing team of Tom Long and Allen Pote. The first section is an original ballad focused on the imagery of a single flame overcoming the darkness which builds to the refrain: "This flame of love and sacrifice will fill the world, this light of Christ." The anthem then segues into two verses of "Joy to the World" with the option of adding the congregation for a thrilling conclusion. This piece is the concluding selection in Tom Long and Allen Pote's blockbuster Christmas cantata, "By Heaven's Light." The Orchestration contains a Conductor's Score and parts for: Flute, Oboe, Trumpet in B-flat, French Horn in F, Percussion, Cello and Electric Bass.
