கடல்போல் துன்பம் புரண்டோடினும்
என்ன நேரிடினும் உம் வாக்குப்படி,
எல்லாம் நன்றே எல்லாம் நன்றே

2 சாத்தான் சோதித்து
என்னை புடமிட்டாலும்
என்னை அவன் வீழ்த்தினாலும்
அவர் எனக்காய் சிலுவை சுமந்தே
தம் இரத்தம் எனக்காய் சிந்தினார்

3 என் பாவம் அய்யோ,
அவர் மாட்சிமையால்,
முற்றும் (அ)மகன்று சென்றது
சிலுவையிலே அவர் தொங்கியதால்
ஸ்தோத்திரம் அவரை துதிப்பேன்.
