1 என் பிரயாணம் முற்றும் முன்பே,
என் பெலன் காலம் தீருமுன்,
தவறாதென்னை தப்புவியும்,
தந்தேன் என் நாட்கள் உம் கரம்.

2 என் வாழ்நாளை நீர் குறைக்காமல்,
என்றென்றும் நீரே ஆள்கிறீர்,
இப்பூவின் அஸ்திபாரம்தான்,
விண்மீனையும் சூர்யசந்திரனும்.

3 பூமியும் வானும் ஒழிந்திடுமே,
அணிந்திட்ட வஸ்திரம் களைந்தார்போல்,
என்றென்றும் வாழ்ந்தே ஆள்கிரீர்,
காலங்கள் யாவும் பணிந்திடும்.

4 உம் ஊழியரின் பிள்ளைகளும்,
கண்முன்னே நீரே வைத்தீரே,
மகிமையும் கனமும் பெறுவாரே,
நீர் தயவாலே ஈகிறீர்.
