1 Nu er os Gud miskundelig,
Og han vil os velsigne,
Sit Aasyn oer Jorderig
Det lader han nu skinne,
At vi hans Beie maa forstaa
Bed Livsens Lys, som tændes,
Og Jesus Krist, vor Frelser,
maa Blandt Hedningerne kjendes,
Alt Folk til Gud omvendes.

2 Nu takker, Gud, og lover dig
Dit Folk i Hedninglande,
Den hele Verden glæder sig,
Maa dine Ord vel sande,
At du selv raader Ret paa Jord,
Frir os af Syndens Snare;
Men Livsens Brød er Herrens Ord,
Guds Magt, som skal bevare
Alt Folk, ret Bei at fare.

3 Nu takker, Gud, og lover dig
Dit Folk med Idræt fager,
Din Jord bær Frugt, og bedrer sig,
Dit Ord dog Tilvækst tager!
Sign os, Gud Fader, Søn og Aand,
Sign os, og sank os sammen Med
Lov og Tak of alle Land,
Med hellig Frygt og Gammen!
Nu syng af Hjertet Amen!

4 Ære være Gud Fader i Himmerig,
Som alting haver at raade,
Deslige hans Søn evindelig,
Som frelst haver os af Baade,
Og lovet være den Helligaand,
Som giver os af sin Raade,
Den været haver af evig Tid
Og bliver foruden al Ende.
Gud os sin Raade sende!
