Meter: 8.9.8.8 with refrain Translator (English) of "Ha nacido el niño Dios" In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.

Now the child Has Come!)" in Oramos Cantando = We Pray In Song Andrew Donaldson, a composer and church musician, grew up in northern Ontario, Canada. He attended Glendon College, York University in Toronto, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974. He went on to study classical guitar performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, receiving its ARCT (Associate of Royal Conservatory Teachers) degree in 1979. Since then he has worked as a composer and performer in many contexts, in both French and English. Andrew co-edited the Book of Praise (1997), Presbyterian Church in Canada, with Donald Anderson. Their company, Binary Editions, continues to administer copyright for the PCC. In 2007 he was made a Doctor of Divinity, honoris causa, by Knox College of the University of Toronto, for his body of work in congregational song in the Presbyterian Church in Canada. 1920 - 1986 Person Name: Osvaldo Catena, 1920-1986 Meter: 8.9.8.8 with refrain Author of "O Living Breath of God" in Evangelical Lutheran Worship Osvaldo Catena (b. 1920; d. 1986) was an Argentinian priest and composer. Showing an early interest in music, he entered the Metropolitan Seminary in Santa Fe, Argentina, where he learned multiple instruments and studied for ordination. He was ordained as a priest in 1943. He started the first School of Sacred Music in Santa Fe, and in 1950 organized the first University Choir. He was soon appointed chaplain at the College of Our Lady of Calvary, but moved his ministry to the poor, harsh areas of Santa Fe, in what he named Villa Prak, “the triangle” outlined by railroad tracks, garbage dumps, and caves near the Rio Saldo. He termed this area Villa Park. He spent much of his life in this area, working to develop the area and provide fellowship and guidance for those living there in a time of turmoil and violence, during the military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983).
