1 Loor a tí, mi Dios, en esta noche
por todas tus bondades de este día.
Oh, guárdame y que tus potentes alas
sean por siempre la defensa mía.
De cuántas faltas hoy he cometido
perdóname, Señor, por tu Hijo amado.
Contigo, con el prójimo y conmigo
quede yo antes de dormir reconciliado.
Contigo, con el prójimo y conmigo
quede yo antes de dormir reconciliado.
2 Enséñame a vivir, que no me espante
la tumba más que el lecho del repose;
enséñame a morir, a fin que pueda
a tu llamada despertar glorioso.
Oh, logre reposar en tí mi alma,
cierre mis párpados el dulce sueño,
un sueño que vigor pueda prestarme
para servirte, al despertar, mi Dueño;
un sueño que vigor pueda prestarme
para servirte, al despertar, mi Dueño.
