Perchance His summons may Ere long be sent to thee; Oh, turn to Him today, Let Him thy solace be. 3 There is salvation still For hearts contritely crying To Him whose gracious will Is now to save the dying. His grace doth beckon thee To seek thy Savior blest; Oh, hasten, swiftly flee Unto His blessed rest. 4 As in its mother's arm The child sweet comfort gaineth, So, shielding thee from harm, The Lord thy heart sustaineth, Oh, seek that sweet repose, Come unto Him and stay; Thy Savior now is close, Oh, come to Him today. I Am a Child of God

Author: Mary Jackson Cathey Meter: 6.7.6.7.6.6.6.6 Appears in 1 hymnal Lyrics: 1 I am a child of God, the One who made and keeps me. By God's free gift of love, God's child I always will be. Forever I belong, I know that this is true; and with my mind and heart, I trust and love God, too. 2 God's image is in us, the people of creation. No matter where we live, we share a close relation. God's covenant is sure, eternal word for all who follow in God's way and answer to God's call. 3 God never turns from us, not even in our sinning. God loves and waits for us to claim a new beginning. By opening our hearts, we then prepare the way for God's love to come in and guide us every day. 4 I thank God for that love and all the world around me, the seen and unseen things, and promised things that will be. Through worship, trust, and prayer, may I reflect God's will. Let love be seen in me as I God's word fulfill. Used With Tune: NUN DANKET ALLE GOTT

Welcome, Thou Victor in the Strife

Author: Benjamin Schmolck, 1672-1787 Meter: 8.6.8.6 Appears in 63 hymnals Lyrics: 1 Welcome, Thou victor in the strife, Welcome from out the cave! Today we triumph in Thy life Around Thy empty grave. 2 Our enemy is put to shame, His short-lived triumph o’er; Our God is with us, we exclaim, We fear our foe no more. 3 The dwellings of the just resound With songs of victory; For in their midst Thou, Lord, art found, And brightest peace with Thee. 4 Oh, let Thy conquering banner wave O’er hearts Thou makest free; And paint the path that from the grave Leads heavenward up to Thee. 5 We bury all our sin and crime Deep in our Saviour’s tomb, And seek the treasure there, that time Nor change can e’er consume. 6 Fearless we lay us in the tomb, And sleep the night away, If Thou art there to break the gloom, And call us back to-day. 7 Death hurts us not; his power is gone, And pointless all his darts: God's favor now on us hath shone, Joy filleth all our hearts. Do Ciebie wznosi się

Appears in 1 hymnal Lyrics: 1 Do Ciebie wznosi się dusz naszych dziękczynienie, wszechwładny Ojcze nasz, za wszelkie ziemskie mienie. Bo Ty użyźniasz łan, obfity dajesz zbiór, zasilasz chlebem lud, oddalasz głód i mór.
